embarks on review
The Trust's main grants programme
has now closed for new applications
Every five years, the Trust undertakes a major review of its
grant-making policies and procedures. The existing grants criteria
have been in place since 2002 and it is now time to take a fresh
look at how the Trust does business.
At its meeting on 10 July 2007, the Grants Committee therefore
agreed that the existing main grants programmes should close on 1
October 2007. This will allow the grants team the opportunity to
process all the applications received by that date, in advance of
the launch of new programmes on 15 July 2008, and to
undertake the process of the review.
The small grants programnme, 'Improving Services for Older
People', is unaffected by this decision and will carry on its
business as normal, within its existing two year timescale. The
deadline for the receipt of new applications to this programme is
midday on 1 October 2008. Applications received after the deadline
will not be considered.
